When I first getting interested in Generation Kill (all of two weeks ago, I'm late to the party) I went looking for some kind of "who's who" or primer for the series. But I couldn't find one. So, I decided to make one myself. Hopefully, new comers to the fandom will find it helpful.

I was researching a paper for my film class when I came across this article about the mini-series. It's old but I thought it made some really interesting observations about the show so I went ahead and scanned it in case anyone else is still getting a thrill from reading awesome reviews.

GK is #1 on the A.V. Club's Best Made for TV Movies/Miniseries of the '00s, beating Angels of America, Band of Brothers, and John Adams.

For UK viewers who don't already know, Generation Kill will be broadcasted terrestrially for the first time on Wednesday 7th October at 11.20pm on Channel 4. Our boy Stark will be in the Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night, playing Sebastian.

The show will run from June 10 - July 12.

Tickets are free apparently, obtained at the Delacourt Theater.
